Dr. Kolansky is intelligent, friendly, polite, and caring. My father was referred to him by our family physician. I looked up his credentials and was impressed to see he had won New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor Award in 2017. I also found out many people we know use and love him.
I went to see him with my dad, he walked into the room and immediately saw the cancer spots on my father’s face, marked them and biopsied each one right there in the office. He also pointed out that the lump on my dad’s neck was cancer. He basically saved my father’s life by performing a surgery to remove the neck tumor three days after our first visit and it was not a normal surgery day, he went out of his way to fit him in because he was so concerned about him.
There is a lab there in the office and after performing surgery they biopsy the remaining skin you have to make sure they got all of the cancer, if not they repeat the process until they get it all, this happens all on the same day.
He takes his time to speak to us and answers all of our questions every visit. The office wait time is no longer than any other doctor’s office I’ve been to, in fact the wait is usually less than 15 minutes. I would highly recommend Dr. Kolansky to anyone who needs a dermatologist.
